Welcome to the Woodpecker Stages Rally, one of the most popular events in the BTRDA calendar organised by the Sixty & Worcestershire Motor Club.

For 2008, a big thank you to all marshals and competitors and also to the weather for at least being dry.

Congratulations to Shaun Gardener and Ben Innes on their second Woodpecker win and also to Richard Sykes/ Anthony Palmer, best two wheel drive under 1400cc and Joe Price/Christopher Brooks best two wheel drive over 1400cc.

Joe also broke Richard Gough's long standing two wheel drive record through the Haye Park stage. Richard set the record at 9m 18sec in 1996, when he had the last overall win in a two wheel drive car. Joe improved that time to 9m 13sec.

Andy Burton holds the four wheel drive record at 8m 33sec, set in 1998. Andy also holds the next two fastest times. John Perrott this year has now got the closest to Andy's times at 8m 47sec.
